i recently bought a custom built cage from matt for my sav. water monitor. i am very pleased with the cage and am going to hire matt to build me some more cages in the near future. the price for the cage was excellent and the quality of the cage is damn good.i told matt what i needed and the need for security of haveing a 4 year old daughter who is in to “everything”. he built the cage to fit both the the needs of the monitor and the security of the child…if you are looking for a cage for your repitle, give matt the job becouse even though he says he does it as a hobbie i couldnt see anyone else building cages for me ever!thanks again matt for the work you put into it and the detain of the cage in general… i look forward to useing you for another cage in the near future…this is william gray and im very happy with my cage.

I recently bought a Colombian Black and White Tegu from Matt. If your getting a reptile i would definetly get it from matt. Over the past month or so Ive been in contact with Matt and hes been telling me everythign i need to know about my tegu. With matt able to give the info i needed i felt more comfortable with my purchase and more comfortable buying it over the internet. I’m definently going to buy more reptiles from matt. I just purchased a red blood python from Matt. It has been a great snake for the time i have had it. Its a very pretty and healthy snake. Matt was very open with the snake and helped me out a lot. i would be very comfortable with making a purchase from him in the future. Thanks so much Matt, for my new babies! I am so glad that I found your site. Even for an avid snake lover and fairly knowledgable about them, you gave me information that I did not know. Thanks for being available anytime and for encouraging me to keep in touch. The cage you constructed is holding up very well and is simiple and easy to monitor and clean. The treated spots on the Burm are mostly healed after shedding 2 times already as have both the boas having shed twice. All are eating exceptionally well and growing. Their personalities esp the Burmese is absolutely amazing…and the docilness of him is an extra bonus.
If anyone, is lucky enough to find your site, as was I, I am sure that dealing with you will get them the healthy reptile they are seeking at a reasonable price, cages that are attractive and acommodating, and all of the information to get them started!

THANK YOU SO MUCH MATT!!! Thanks to Matt, I am now the proud owner of a baby Female Ball Python named Aurora. I am so glad I purchased Aurora from Matt- he has been incredibly helpful with every question I’ve asked him either via e-mail or phone. Before Aurora, I was TERRIFIED of snakes, but thanks to Matt, I have gotten over that fear and truly love my “baby girl”- I spend hours just watching and holding her. She arrived fed, healthy, and apparently happy. Matt already had Aurora’s tank set up and showed me everything I needed to do once I got home to make sure Aurora would be healthy, happy, and comfortable. Matt truly knows his stuff when it comes to snakes and reptiles and I recommend him to any and everyone who is considering owning a snake/reptile. I purchased a young adult female albino Burmese from Matt at the Repticon show in Georgia and was vey pleased. Very knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. What impressed me the most is that I had a few questions about my animal after I got home, so I sent him an email and I received a phone call from him within the hour; all of my questions were answered in full. I just recently purchased a Nicuragian Boa from Matt and he couldn’t have been any more informative about any question I had for him. I thought I knew a great deal about snakes and reptiles but Matt pointed out things to me that I didn’t know about. The snake is healthy and beautiful. He shipped it fast and it arrived right on time, alive and healthy. She is probably the tamest snake that I have ever held let alone own. He was always there to answer any questions I had whether it was through email or over the phone. I’ve been raising snakes since the early 80’s. I’ve dealt with alot of people over the years. A few tried to sell me snakes that weren’t pictured or in good health. That’s not the case with ExoticReptiles. The snake I saw in picture was snake I recieved. She was healthy & had no problem at all. Matt was very helpful & was always willing to go out of his way to help me with my purchase. When I first visited his site he had 2 burms left unsexed. Without a blink of my eye. Matt asked if I would like for him to sex them. Usually when I’ve asked for my snakes to be sexed. I get a reply like. We don’t sex them or you’ll have to pay extra to have them sexed. Wow!!!!Mathew the Sharp Albino that I just got from you today looks fantastic. Bright red tail, nice markings, good size and body structure, he is perfect, more than what I was expecting. Matt, thanks for the Albino Burmese Python. I really like the snake, the hissing isn’t anything at all, he is really nice and I didn’t have to shield his face, we just went straight in and grabbed him! I just received my 2nd snake, a creamsicle corn snake, from Matt on Saturday. I purchased my 1st snake, a Ball Python, from him as well. I purchased my 1st custom built cage from Matt at the Columbia, SC Repticon, as well as a tank-mate(Luna)for, Aurora, our 1st Ball Python we got from Matt. Luna is one of the prettiest “normal” ball pythons I have EVER seen. The custom built cage is perfect- I love how it opens from the front and the built-in light provides all the heat my girls need. I’m rather short, so it’s nice to have a cage that I can put on my dresser and easily reach Aurora and Luna. I can’t rave enough on how awesome Matt is- his reptiles and his cages are the best you’ll find anywhere. He is THE ONLY person I will purchase my reptiles and their cages from. He also sexed my rescue ball python for me at Repticon, as well as offering me detailed advice on how to get my rescue back to 100% health. I can’t wait to get my 1st Boa from Matt in the near future.

My last comment was on March 10th of this year. When I purchased a baby female burmese. When I received her she was so beautiful. No problems at all with her. She is now almost 6ft long and doing good. Her name is Lilly & she is the baby burmese pictured. So when you look at the picture of the baby burmese, keep in mind that it’s name is Lilly. I’ve had alot of people comment on her when they see her. She has changed the beliefs of alot of people. What amazes them the most, is how I have trained her. Believe it or not I’m able to train my snakes to either follow me or to stay within a certain distance of me. The reason I have purchased her is. I had aquired a 10ft male burmese back in 1989. His first owner sold him due to the fact that he like to bite. I had seen him and knew what the reason for his biting. He was under fed and not treated well. When I aquired him, he was given the name of Klyde. Within the first few months I got him into great health and out of the habbit of biting. What amazed everyone who came into contact with him, was how he understood me. I was able to put him anywhere on the ground and walk away. He would watch me to see where I was going and follow me. He was so well mannered that he would sleep with my cat and was never locked in his cage. Well my good friend past away some years ago. I could never bring myself to own another burmese in fear that it wouldn’t be like my Klyde. Until I came across ExoticReptiles. I had exchanged a few messages with Matt before I decided to purchased my new baby. Lilly. My daughter gave her that name due to the fact that the markings on her back look like the name Lilly. She is now eating x-large rats once a week and has the same attitude as my late friend Klyde. Like I said in my last comment back in March. I’ve dealt with alot of breeders in my time and No One comes close to the quality of Matt and ExoticReptiles has. I’ve told everyone who sees Lilly, that if their looking to purchase any reptile to check out ExoticReptiles first. Cause as it looks right now, I might be purchasing a baby male burmese in March or April. I would like to thank Matt for selling me Lilly. She is my pride and joy.

My wife and I recently met Mat and his family at the Repticon show in Charlotte, NC where we purchased a female Brazilian Rainbow Boa for my birthday. Mat was super nice and even allowed us to hold the snake before we purchased her. Mat is very knowledgeable about his reptiles and demonstrated a real passion and excitement about his business. He even helped me with some questions that I had about the care of my Corn Snake that I already owned. I followed his suggestions and i have already noticed a difference in her behavior. I am really enjoying the Brazillian Rainbow Boa that we purchased as well. Her name is Charlotte and she is a sweet girl. Everybody in the family has held her and she has not nipped, or bitten at any of us. These are very beautiful snakes and i think they make a good safe pet even for the first time reptile owner.
